M.Eng. Ing. Koen Debeule is working for ESA since 1999. As member of the Engineering Services Section, he has been in several different projects within ESA.  Beside the technical aspects of his job, he is also known within ESA for his communication and education skills, in specific for the internal ESA course called “Space In A Nutshell”.  The presentations on Sunday will contain a general introduction to ESA, after which some topics of this course will be presented/discussed, including audience participation.

The presentation fits in the “Share your passion for space with the public! Host a Space Talk in November” concept and is included in the museum’s admission, ESA employee badge holders who like to attend, please contact the speaker directly.

Op Zondagen 11 en 25 November verwachten wij M.Eng. Ing. Koen Debeule, een ESA/ESTEC ingenieur die tevens een graag geziene gast is in Space Expo (Vraag maar aan onze gidsen :-).
Deze “Vlaamse vriend van Space Expo” werkt niet enkel aan technische zaken, maar verzorgt binnen ESA ook de cursus “space in a nutshell”, die gemaakt is voor algemeen publiek.

In het kader van “Share your passion for space with the public! Host a Space Talk in November” krijgt het publiek de unieke kans een deel van deze cursus te ervaren.  Na een inleiding over ESA volgen er 3 hoofdstukken die door het publiek zelf gekozen kunnen worden. Ook zal Koen in en rond het museum te vinden zijn voor het antwoord op al uw vragen.

De lezingen zijn gratis voor museum bezoekers, ESA pashouders die de lezing willen bijwonen kunnen de speaker contacteren.
