Microbes are everywhere and can be very useful. We therefore may want to use them within space exploration and are developing the technology to do so. Within this talk, I want to show why microbes can be so usefull, both in our daily lifes as well as in space: Which kind of microbial experiments we are doing on Earth and in space to develop possible microbial based technology? How will be able to use these microbes in space?
